Gemi Grade Report
151
Published July 13, 2026
This Pikachu shows excellent centering and very strong overall preservation, with only minor isolated wear at one back corner and a subtle edge mark on the front bottom edge. Surface evidence is clean despite glare limiting inspection in places.
Image Quality
• Strong diagonal lighting glare covers much of the card surface and obscures parts of the artwork and text.
• Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is excellent on both sides and supports a top score. The front measures essentially 50/50 left-right with a modest top-to-bottom shift, and the back is similarly balanced left-right with a somewhat stronger but still acceptable vertical offset.
Corners are strong overall, with the main issue being a small white nick/chip on the back bottom-left corner along the outer arc just above the tip. The wear is minor and isolated, consistent with a high corner grade despite slight visible edge wear at that corner.
Observed
Edges are very clean overall. There is only a small, subtle patch of whitish wear at the left end of the front bottom cut edge, and it is slightly ambiguous due to lighting, so it does not materially affect the strong edge result.
Observed
No verified surface flaws were detected in the available scans, which supports a pristine surface result. The front glare and minor back inspection limitations reduce visual clarity, but there were still no confirmed scratches, dents, creases, print lines, spots, foil wear, or other surface anomalies to account for.
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
