Gemi Grade Report
Base Set
Published August 12, 2026
This Squirtle presents very strong overall condition, led by clean edges and excellent centering. The main visible flaws are a couple of tiny back surface specks and minor back corner wear.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Centering is strong overall, with the front slightly favoring the left and the back showing a mild horizontal shift, but both remain well within premium range. The measured front/back balance supports the 9 subgrade.
Corners are largely clean, with only a small white nick/chip at the back top-right corner and a very subtle whitening point near the back bottom-left junction. The minor wear is limited and fits the 9 subgrade.
Observed
No edge wear was detected on either edge-strip scan, so the edges present as clean throughout. That level of preservation supports the 10 subgrade.
The surface shows only a couple of tiny specks on the back art, both minor and localized, with no broader scratching, dents, or creasing evident. A small amount of back-side glare reduces inspection clarity slightly, but the observed marks are still limited enough to support the 9 subgrade.
Observed
Centering (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
Bringing centering up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Corners, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
