Gemi Grade Report
DP Black Star Promos
Published June 19, 2026
This card shows strong centering, very light corner wear, and mostly clean surfaces. The main limitation is the cluster of edge chips and nicks on the back border.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The measured alignment is strong on both sides, with the front only slightly off left-to-right and the back close to even. The card presents as well-centered overall, consistent with a high centering result.
Corner wear is minimal: the front bottom-right shows only a very subtle possible touch of whitening, and the back top-right has a small nick at the rounded tip. These are light, localized corner issues and fit a near-mint corner result.
Observed
The edge grade is held down by multiple white chips and nicks along the back cut edges, including a more noticeable cluster on the upper right and several smaller breaks elsewhere. The wear is concentrated on the back border rather than being evenly distributed, which supports a middling edge result.
Observed
Surface wear appears limited to a few small marks: a minor greenish scuff on the front border and a faint short scratch in the back blue border. With no major scratches, dents, creases, or print-line issues evident, the surface remains in strong condition.
Observed
Edges (5.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (moderate, back).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
