Gemi Grade Report
Ascended Heroes
Published August 14, 2026
This Pikachu ex presents as a high-grade card with excellent centering and near-pristine corners and surface. The only meaningful flaw is a small front edge chip with slight whitening, which keeps the edge result just below perfect.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very close to even on both sides, with the front at about 49/51 left-right and 47/53 top-bottom, and the back similarly tight around 48/52 and 49/51. That near-balanced layout supports a top centering result.
The front right-top corner shows only a faint possible whitening or tiny edge break along the rounded tip, and the scan notes some softness that makes the wear uncertain. Even so, the corner presentation remains effectively pristine overall, consistent with the top corner result.
Observed
A small white chip and slight whitening are visible at the far right cut edge on the front strip scan. The defect is minor and localized, which fits a strong edge result with only a small deduction from perfect condition.
Observed
The surface is essentially clean, with only a tiny dark speck on the back art area near the center-left swirl. That mark is negligible in size and impact, so the surface remains in top condition.
Observed
Edges (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Edge Wear (minor, front).
Bringing edges up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Centering, 10.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
