This Mawile shows excellent overall preservation, anchored by very strong centering and only light wear on the corners and surface. The card presents as a high-grade example with just a few small back-side imperfections.

Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
The card’s centering is very strong on both sides, with the front measuring close to 47/53 left-right and 47/53 top-bottom, and the back even tighter left-right with only a modest top/bottom shift. Those measurements support a near-perfect centering result.
Corner wear is light and localized, led by a tiny white nick on the front bottom-right corner and a small chip on the back bottom-left corner. A possible additional back bottom-right speck was present but too affected by image quality to count, so the overall corner presentation remains very strong.
Observed
Edge wear is minimal, with only a tiny nick/whitening noted at the far right end of the back top edge and no meaningful front-edge issues. The visible wear is isolated and slight, consistent with a top-tier edges result.
Observed
Surface quality is mostly clean, but there are a few small specks and short marks on the back blue border plus a small dark speck in the lower-right back art area. One tiny speck near the back right border was observed but excluded from scoring because the region was affected by scan quality, so the remaining surface flaws are light and limited.
Observed
Corners (9.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
