Gemi Grade Report
Phantasmal Flames
Published May 28, 2026
Centering is excellent, and the card shows clean edges with only light corner wear and one minor back surface scratch. Overall, the scan evidence supports a strong, well-preserved example.
Image Quality
Parts of this scan are hard to inspect. Glare, overexposure, or low detail may reduce grading confidence.
Grade Shape
Four-axis score profile
Measured centering is very close to even on both sides, with only slight front vertical bias and minimal left-right variation on the back. The measurements support a top centering result.
Corner condition is mostly strong, but light wear is visible on several back corners, including small whitening at the top-right and faint fraying/whitening at the top-left and bottom-right. A tiny possible speck or minute nick at the front bottom-right corner adds a little additional corner weakening, consistent with the subgrade.
Observed
The edge strips show no meaningful edge wear on either side, and there are no notable chips, whitening runs, or rough sections along the borders. That clean edge profile supports a top edge result.
Surface quality is strong overall, with the main visible issue being a short dark diagonal scratch/scuff in the upper-left blue field on the back. Front-side inspection is slightly limited by minor glare, but the observed scratch is modest and fits a high surface result.
Observed
Corners (8.0) is the lowest of the four axes. It's the main thing keeping this card from a higher grade.
The limiting defect is Corner Wear (minor, back).
Bringing corners up to the level of the next-weakest axis (Surface, 9.0) would be the single biggest improvement available.
